Shame, these aren’t the actual Portuguese lyrics translated to English. It’s more of an adaptation of “what fiys in English”. The song was /much/ better with the real translation here:

heard it in both portuguese and english
but have to say, coming from an english girl i prefer it in portuguese, it’s lovely

Nice song, nice singer, but Portugal will never wins with songs in Portuguese, it is a fact, unfortunately. I think that the entries in ESC could be in the national language of each country but it must be mixed with English too.
So, Good Luck Portugal! But the best entry is the song for Georgia, Shine – Sopho Nizharadze…
