French lyrics:
Vous qui cherchez l’étoile
Vous qui vivez un rêve
Vous, héros de l’espace
Au coeur plus grand que la terre
Vous, donnez-moi ma chance
Emmenez-moi loin d’ici
English translation:
Don’t Leave Without Me
You, who are looking for a star
You, who live a dream
You, heroe of the space
With a heart bigger than the earth
You, give me my chance
Take me far from here
Don’t leave without me
Let me follow you
You who fly towards other lifes, let me live
The most beautiful adventure
The most beautiful travel
Which will lead one day to suns, to planets
Of love
You, the new poets
You, the magic birds
You, you will maybe find some new musics
You, give me my chance
I want to sing too
Don’t leave without me
Let me follow you
You who fly towards new lifes, let me live
The blue of the infinity
The joy of being free
On rays, on suns, on songs, on wonders
And in a sky of love
The blue of the infinity
The joy of being free
You who fly towards other lifes
You who fly towards the year two thousand
Don’t leave without me
Spanish translation/Traducción española (Latin American Spanish)
(Gracias, z2xc5v!)
So, there is Spanish translation then….
Oh wait, I think I made that one XD
z2xc5v-maybe you could look it through and see if it is correct and correct possible errors? XD
Thanks guys! 😉
If you click here

you will see all Molitva translations that we have
Well yea, go on and translate as many songs as you want to 😀 if you mean Molitva, many translations already exist of that one so just check before so that there already isn’t a Spanish translation of that one.
De nada 🙂
I will go off classes this weekend, so i can made some other translation…Maybe i will consider some other more searched songs, probably some winner songs, Serbian`s one and so others…I was thinking in “Al diablo con eso” of Rebeka (Vrag naj Vzame)
Yea I also think the song is definately one of the best ESC winners ever maybe even the best.
Gracias por la traducción española, thanks for the Spanish translation, I actually thought of making one myself 😛 and yea it’s true some things would probably be said differently by someone from Spain, but I think they can understand your translation well too. Ustedes is used in Spain too but it’s used there as a politer form of vosotros.
And yea, sometimes that happens when translating something to your native language, but Spanish and French are quite similar grammatically and some vocabulary is too so maybe it’s easier then.
(Ustedes que buscan otras vidas, the other version)
This version is how a latin would translate it, a spanish maybe would change the word “Ustedes” by “Vosotros” and the conjunction of some verbs are quite different, but the two are related in the same time, for example: No se vayan sin mí=No os vayaís sin mí (don´t leave without me) Dénme=Dadme (give me), Llévenme=Llevadme (take me), Ustedes que vuelan=Vosotros que volaís (you, that fly) and so on…Is like british english and american english, only that is a bit harder to explain xD btw, in spanish, the lyrics are also very beautiful, don´t lose any sense (most of the time, when you translate some foreign thing to your native language, lose sense and the song´s idea get lost)
Ciao!
Best song ever…is nice have this one on site…My favorite winner of all…
A weird fact: Have you noticed that exists other versions of this song, and even the studio version, that changed slightly the lyrics? The original lyrics goes “vouz qui checherz d`autres vies”(i can´t speak french, im just guessing how is it in french, coz in english goes like “you, who looks for other lives” and i don`t know how to spell it) instead of “Vous qui volez vers d’autres vies”, but no one knows why Celine decided to changed it in the performance´s night…actually I had hear another covers of this song, and they use the original lyrics, and she even sing it correctly in the video clip..
Another fact, in her video clip of Ne partez pas sans moi, she appeared singing in a boat, and she never would imagine that exactly 10 years later, she was going to do the soundtrack of Titanic, appearing singing in a video clip, once again, in a boat…weird, isn´t?
Saludos
Nema na cemu you’re welcome 😀
Thanks jonti! 😉
By the way, some parts of the lyrics and the translation I tried to write myself, so if you spot any errors please tell me….a few parts I did have to check though 😛 but please correct me if there are any errors.
I’m thinking of maybe translating it to a few other languages too later.
