Olta Boka to represent Albania at Eurovision Song Contest 2008

Olta Boka has won the Albanian national final for the 2008 Eurovision Song Contest, The Festivali i Këngës, that was held in Tirana from 14th till 16th December.

However, the contest is under investigation due to fact that voting of the last two jury members completely turned the results making Olta Boka the winner and sending F. Kralani & D. Disha, with song Jeta kerkon dashuri (Life seeks love) to second place.

Unless if the voting gets proclaimed invalid, Albania’s entry in Belgrade will be Olta’s song Zemrën lamë peng (We Gambled The Heart) which was performed in Albanian at the national contest but it’s expected that she will sing at least parts of it in English at ESC 2008.
