Paolo Meneguzzi to Represent Switzerland at Eurovision 2008

Pop singer Paolo Meneguzzi (Pablo Meneguzzo) will represent Switzerland at Eurovision 2008 with song Era Stupendo.
Paolo became famous in Italy and Italian speaking parts of Switzerland by competing at San Remo music festival and being chosen to participate at Eurovision Song Contest is the biggest recognition by his home country.

In 2007, Paolo won 6th place at The Sanremo Festival and a great number of fans with his song “Musica”
His Eurosong, Era Stupendo (It Was Wonderful) , described as “romantic Italian ‘70 ” song”, was made available to the public at Swiss Award on Swiss television TSI2 a month after the announcement of his participation, on 12th January 2008.

Definitively one of the biggest underrated song in ESC…He is such a great singer, with a huge number of fans in South america…If Eurovision put this kind of songs in the last bottom, they should be send us their biggest loser then xD
