I came on this site several times, but wasnt avaliable and i dont know exactly why, then like a week ago, i desist…but now i decided to try again, and my surprise, its on again
focusing in the topic…probably the song that will last as my though, might be the icelandic one…i already heard it in a disco here in Aruba (here, Helena paparitzou is very famous too)…of course, Hind is quite knowed here…
Other songs that i cant get off of my mind are “Era stupendo”, “Hero”, the macedonian song (because is like reaggueton and here in america is the beat right now), the finnish song…and well, i liked almost all the song on the festival…but are some that i already forgot (Russia, Serbia, Croatia, Greece…)
actually in spanish sounds very good…i think i like it more than
the original one…Even when her spanish isnt the best on the world, is
enjoyable…i certanly dont gonna forget this song xD (Again :P)

Well, I still listen to a couple of songs from last year, the Greek song, Serbia, of course, Cyprus', Denmarks, I got the album of the French band, the German, the Israeli, the Montenegran (which is very similar to this year's in style), the Spanish, I have the Swedish bands album, and the Ukraine. So more than a couple actually
I think there were some good ones this year that will last as well, but my most played song is Laka, and if that means I'm going to have to visit Bosnia to get his album then, sigh, that's just something I'll have to do.
Well I wouldn't mind visiting UK even if that meant I'd have to get Andy's album! ” />
But yeah… visiting Bosnia is a great idea I haven't been there in a longgg time but it's a beautiful country
Maria's “Hold On Be Strong” seems stuck in my head these days.. It's not bad at all! And also Femme Fatale.. catchy music (at the beginning at least lol)
But my absolute hit right now - Rebeka Dremelj's Croatian version!
I can't forget “Irelande Douze Points”! The song's so crazy but for some reason I like it.
Another song is Ani Lorek's “Shady Lady”, I like the style!
And the French song “Divine” by Sébastien Tellier. Ba-ba-ba-bu-de or something like that YAY

Verka Serduchka (Andrey Danilko) was one of the most famous singers in Russia. He was shown on television many times during a day. But in his performance in 2007 he replaced 3times the song text “Lasha tumbai” with “Russia good-bye» though he had been warned beforehand about if he sang such words Russian TV-channels would react upon to it very negatively.
Afterwards he is boycotted by Russian TV-channels and they don’t shoot him any more and cut his performances out of the old records. I know that one Russian channel transmitted a new concert of singers from Belarus and Verka Serduchka’s song was just cut out.

I know that the song was very political charged, and i do notice the “russia good-bye” in the performance. But if we see now, for example, the spanish song, that also have politics-related lyrics, the media in Europe just ignored it (and focuses in the lame factor of the song instead). I think that Russian Media probably over reacted, but i think that we in the same place, will be doing the same i suppose…Still for me is a memorable song and wackiest performance ever
