If it’s good enough for UK Telegraph.. 🙂
“When you fall onto your back, your anterior muscles are likely to contract quickly to prevent your neck and skull from making contact with the floor”
‘Onto’ is a preposition that shows a movement toward another surface.
A general rule of thumb to decide if ‘onto’ is appropriate is replace it with ‘on’. The meaning should not be affected:
Save it onto/on the desktop.
Never put a stroller onto/on the escalator.
They hopped onto/on the streetcar.
Nije ni into ni onto nego on
into – u
U poslovici
Da padne na leđa,razbio bi nos.
u delu prevoda piše onto his back..
Mislim da ide into his back
Umesto “D” stavila si “B”
Ako komšijina kuća gori, pazi na svoju
Nisam siguran, ali mislim da ide
If is neigbour’s house on fire, watch on your own
Bolje je zaplakati jednom, nego 100 puta uzdahnuti
Better cry once, then inbreathe 100 times
Hvala bagzi!
Ako ne počneš, nećeš ni završiti
If you don’t start, you won’t finish
Daleko od očiju, daleko od srca
Far from eyes, far from heart
